フィラデルフィアのノースイースト・フィラデルフィア空港（PNE）を離陸した直後の小型機が、同市北東部の住宅街に墜落し、大規模な火災が発生した。事故機の登録番号はXA-UCIと確認されている。墜落の正確な原因は現時点では不明だが、目撃者によると「ミサイルのように急降下し、地面に激突した」との証言がある。
墜落地点はバストルトン・アヴェニューとコットマン・アヴェニュー付近とされ、住宅街に機体が衝突したことで大規模な火災が発生。現場周辺では激しい炎と黒煙が立ち上り、がれきや破損した車両が散乱しているという。
